In addition to her law degree, Jennifer has a doctorate in Reproductive Physiology and has worked on many cases of first impression, including obtaining the first permit for the production of pharmaceuticals in plants in the State of Colorado. She also helped successfully argue a case in Superior Court of Orange County, California, that makes private storage of stem cells available to all expectant parents. The decision was upheld in December 2004. Jennifer has also prosecuted many patent portfolios of interest, including one in the area of genetic engineering that won multiple awards, including Technology of the Year by the Governor of the State of Iowa and was a Finalist for the same in the State of Utah. This technology has been widely licensed to plant, animal and human companies.
